Cupric Sulfate Pentahydrate, Crystal, 500g

• Cupric sulfate (copper sulfate) in the form of blue, medium sized crystals.
• When burned, cupric sulfate produces a green flame color.
• Soluble in water and methanol; slightly soluble in ethyl alcohol and glycerin.

Cupric sulfate is a commonly used chemical for patination due to its ability to create a greenish-blue patina on copper surfaces.

• No. 9 for Light Green
• No. 17 for Deep Rust Red
• No 20 for Red – semi-matt (For Copper & Copper Plate)
• No. 22 for Red – Purple Satin (For Cast Bronze)
• No. 23 for Orange Brown (For Cast Bronze)
• No. 25 for Blue Green (For Cast Bronze)
• No. 26 for Golden Yellow (For Cast Bronze)
• No. 29 for Reddish Brown (For Cast Brass)
