PTFE Joint Sleeve for 24/40 Ground Glass Joints

Reusable PTFE sleeves for greaseless connections are elongated cones of micro-thin virgin PTFE film tapered to fit snugly around ground glass joints to prevent seizing and galling.

This 24/40 size PTFE sleeve manufactured by Dynalon is approximately 0.05 mm (0.002”) thick with taper of approximately 1.10 on diameter. It eliminates the need for lubrication and frozen, leaky ground joints. Can be used over a temperature range of -75° to +260° C.
